Could I freeze it? I’m thinking of making some up and putting it in tubs for Christmas stocking stuffers.
Karli Bitner says
Yes, all of these can be frozen for a few months before pulling them out to serve. Christmas stocking stuffers is such a great idea!!
Lana Hetherington says
How long can I leave this in my refrigerator asking for a friend 😂😂
Karli Bitner says
They are good in there for about a week. 😉
Brenda says
You realize eColi can be in flour also. Major recall 2019.
Karli Bitner says
Yes, which is why all recipes give directions on how to heat treat the flour.
Jordann Howard says
Cooking the flour, actually activates protein which is why you can take out the eggs and is a great version of eating raw cookie dough (with eggs and milk).
Abi says
Is anyone else having trouble finding all the different recipes?
Karli Bitner says
Thanks for the comment Abi. The recipes are found by clicking the link at the beginning of each edible cookie dough section. Have a great day!
Michaela Gimas says
Can you cook these as well? Might defeat the purpose of the dough being eggless but I think I might make these recipes all the time and the more ways to use the better! I just LOVE eating the raw dough though

Thanks Jesse!

Because there isn’t any leavening agent in the dough (no soda, baking powder or eggs) the dough will not hold together and will just melt into a flat sad cookie. haha stick with just eating the dough or mixing it into ice cream. 🙂

I have been trying your recipes for an event and froze them so that I could ensure that they were done prior. When I go to take them out of the freezer, how long before the event should I take them out prior to serving? I need to individual package each serving before the event. Any special tips for serving/preparing/defrosting the edible cookie dough after it has been frozen?
Michelle says
Can you make a pumpkin spice cookie dough and maybe an oatmeal raisin?
Karli Bitner says
Those are great ideas! I’ll put those on my list of recipes to test.
Karli Bitner says
Hi there! They will only need to be out of the freezer for about 30 minutes before they are thawed. I would probably package after they thaw, just so they don’t sweat inside of the packaging. Good luck!!
samy says
What else can I use besides milk/ or can I just take it off?
Karli Bitner says
The milk is needed for the cookie doughs to come together. Otherwise they will be very dry and crumbly. You could try to substitute water, but I haven’t done that myself so I am unsure of whether or not this will effect the final taste of the cookie dough.

Could you do an Imperial Cookie dough recipe?
