How to make monster cookie dough

While this is a little more intensive than just opening a roll of pre-made cookie dough from the grocery store, it’s not as time-consuming as making cookies from scratch. We don’t have to bake anything today, just grab some measuring cups, spoons and an electric mixer. You can use a stand mixer or a handheld one, whichever you prefer.

In a large bowl, cream together both of the sugars, the peanut butter, and the butter until they’re fluffy. Add in the milk and vanilla, and then blend some more until they’re well incorporated. Add in the flour, salt, and oats and mix them together really well. After that, add in the chocolate chips and mini M&M’s until they are well distributed.

Now you can eat!

*If you’re nervous about consuming raw flour, I suggest you microwave the flour for 1 1/2 minutes prior to making the recipe. Just let it cool first!

How to Store Monster Cookie Dough

If you have dough leftover after you finish binge-eating or you just wanted to meal prep your snacks for the week- you’re in luck! 😉 Monster cookie dough is really easy to store away for later.

You can place any uneaten cookie dough in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Pro Tip: Roll the dough out into bite-sized pieces. This will help you when it comes time to snack, so you don’t have to worry about over-indulging.

How to Freeze Monster Cookie Dough

If you don’t plan on enjoying your edible cookie dough for a few days or you would like to stretch it out longer, you can always place it in the freezer. After rolling them into balls, freeze them on a flat cookie sheet for about 10 minutes until they’re somewhat solid, then place into a baggie, and freeze for up to a few weeks.

By freezing them on a flat sheet, you reduce the risk of the cookie dough balls joining together to create a giant monster cookie dough ball.
