Cream together the butter, and sugars in a large bowl until they’re fluffy. Add in the milk and vanilla and continue to mix until it’s well blended. Then add in the flour, salt, and cocoa. Continue mixing and when everything is well incorporated, stir in the peanut butter chips until they’re well distributed.
How long can I keep Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Dough?
Depending on how long you want your uneaten cookie dough to last, you can choose to place it in the fridge or in the freezer. If you want to save it for a few days (up to 5,) you can place it in the fridge in an airtight container or zipper topped bag.
If you want the cookie dough to last a few weeks, you can have it stored in the freezer. If you choose the freezer option, it’s a good idea to pre-portion it before you freeze, so that you don’t have to thaw it all just to eat a few tasty bites.
How do I thaw cookie dough?
Thawing cookie dough is pretty easy. You can place your frozen dough in the fridge or a few hours or set it on the counter. Just make sure that you place a note nearby so that no one tried to eat the treat you’re patiently waiting for!
