Looking for a tasty treat that is easy to theme, quick to pull together and irresistible? Valentine’s Oreo Bark checks all of these boxes and then some.

What is Valentine’s Oreo Bark?
Imagine the concept of peppermint bark and then make it better! On top of an Oreo cookie base we melt 2 types of chocolate and colored candy melts before garnishing with M&M’s and themed sprinkles. This treat is equal parts easy to make (kid friendly!), sweet to eat, and effortlessly cute. Serve this as an after-school Valentine’s treat, at a Galentine’s movie night, for your February book club or package it up and drop it off at your friends’ houses as a little love note.

Ingredients in Oreo Bark
- Oreo thins – You can use regular Oreos if you need to! If you choose to go that route, I recommend separating the cookies so they provide a thinner base for the bark.
- White chocolate bar, broken into pieces – Use your favorite brand!
- Milk chocolate bar, broken into pieces – Use your favorite brand! I used Ghirardelli.
- Red candy melts
- Valentine’s sprinkles
- Valentine’s M&M’s

How to Make Valentine’s Bark
- Start by preheating the oven to 180°F.
- Next, line a cookie sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
- On the lined cookie sheet, arrange 24 Oreo Thins next to each other to create a single layer.
- Break or chop up the white chocolate and milk chocolate bars into small pieces and sprinkle over the top of Oreos.
- Place the whole pan in the 180°F oven and warm the chocolate for 5-7 minutes or until melted.
- While the chocolate is warming, melt the red candy melts in the microwave according to the directions on the package.
- Once the chocolate has begun to melt, remove the pan from the oven. Use the back of a spoon or an offset spatula to swirl and spread the chocolate to coat the top of the Oreos.
- Finish off by drizzling the red candy melts onto the melted chocolate and then topping with sprinkles and valentines M&M’s.
- Allow the chocolate to completely set up and then cut into desired sized pieces.
- Enjoy!

Storing Chocolate Bark
Once your Valentine’s Bark has set up completely, cut into small pieces and store in an airtight container or bag in the fridge.
Can I make Valentine’s Bark for other Holidays?
For sure! Change the color of the candy melt, the m&m’s and the type of sprinkles you use and you have a treat that works for any occasion!

Big thanks to you! 🙌
Can you use white chocolate chips instead?
Yes! The chips may not melt quite as well, but should still work!
