What are the ingredients for the cookie dough?
You might be surprised to learn that there are only 6 ingredients in this tasty, cookie dough. Don’t forget to factor in the cinnamon and sugar! These include:
- Butter
- Sugar
- Milk
- Vanilla
- Flour
- Salt
- Cinnamon and Sugar
While there are no eggs inside this cookie dough, there is flour. If you don’t feel comfortable consuming raw flour, microwave the flour for 1 1/2 minutes prior to making the recipe.
You can find specific ingredient measurements and the steps in the recipe card down below!
How long can I keep my snickerdoodle cookie dough?
You can take your uneaten cookie dough and place it in your fridge (in a sealed container) for up to 5 days. You can also portion it out into small bite-sized pieces and place it in the freezer for a more extended storage solution.
If you choose to store it in the freezer, consider placing the dough bites on a cookie sheet and freezing them for about 10 minutes before bagging them up. This will help to prevent them from sticking together, making it much more convenient when you want to grab a bite to eat.

Do I have to add flour
Hi Blake, in order for this recipe to taste and have the texture of cookie dough, yes, a flour of some sort is needed.
How much cinnamon and sugar should I use to roll balls into?
Keith
Hi Keith, you’ll want approx 1/4 cup of cinnamon and sugar.
The best cookie dough ever. I love it. And it’s egg-free! I really like this recipe and I’d recommend it to any snickerdoodle dough lover. It’s amazing!
Should the cinnamon/sugar mix be half and half?
I usually do about 1/2 tsp of cinnamon to 1/4 cup of sugar.
Thanks for the comment Lily, I’m so glad you liked this cookie dough. I love to eat mine by the spoonful. 🙂
