3 Ingredient Cream Cheese Fruit Dip FAQs
Cream cheese and fruit can be a healthy snack, depending on the type of fruit and the amount of cream cheese used. Cream cheese is a good source of calcium and protein, but it is also high in fat and calories. Choosing low-fat or fat-free cream cheese can help reduce the calorie and fat content of the snack.
To melt cream cheese without lumps, it’s important to start with room temperature cream cheese. Take the cream cheese out of the fridge and allow it to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before melting.
Once the cream cheese is at room temperature, place it in a microwave-safe bowl and heat it on low power for 15 to 20 seconds.
Yes, you can freeze cream cheese fruit dip, but the texture may change when it’s thawed. The cream cheese may become grainy or watery, and the dip may not be as smooth as it was before freezing.
