Easter Fudge Recipe

This candy fudge recipe only requires 4 ingredients, a microwave, and a fridge. It is a super simple treat that is so cute and festive for the Easter season. But watch out, this fudge includes Cadbury Mini Eggs which means it’s highly addicting 😉

Ingredients for Easter Fudge

  • Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips – I like to use semi sweet chocolate chips for the bottom layer because when combined with the sweetened condensed milk, it tastes sweeter, almost like a milk chocolate. If you like a darker, more rich chocolate flavor, I’d suggest using dark chocolate chips instead.
  • White Chocolate Chips
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • Mini Cadbury Eggs (crushed) – I like to put my Cadbury Mini Eggs into a zip top bag and then crush them by hitting them with my rolling pin. Once they are crushed, place them in the freezer; this is so they don’t completely melt when mixed in the warm fudge.

How to Make Candy Fudge for Easter

  1. Begin by placing your Cadbury Mini Eggs in a large zip top bag, then crush them with a rolling pin.
  2. Place the crushed candy eggs in the freezer until needed later in the recipe.
  3. Next, line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, add the semi sweet chocolate chips and half of the sweetened condensed milk.
  5. Microwave the mixture for 30 seconds, then stir.
  6. Then, microwave the mixture for an additional 30 seconds and stir vigorously until smooth.
  7. Now pour the chocolate mixture into the bottom of your prepared pan and spread in an even layer.
  8. Place the pan in the fridge to set while you make the next layer.
  9. In a separate microwave-safe bowl, add the remaining sweetened condensed milk and the white chocolate chips.
  10. Microwave the mixture for 30 seconds, then stir.
  11. Then, microwave the mixture for an additional 30 seconds and stir vigorously until smooth.
  12. Next, quickly fold in the frozen mini Cadbury Eggs. We froze them beforehand so that they wouldn’t immediately melt in the warm chocolate.
  13. Remove the pan from the fridge and pour the white chocolate fudge mixture on top of the semisweet chocolate fudge.
  14. Spread the white chocolate and candy layer until even and smooth.
  15. Finally, top the fudge with a few extra pieces of crushed Cadbury Eggs, if desired.
  16. Place the fudge in the fridge to set up for at least 1 hour prior to cutting and serving.
  17. Enjoy!

How to store leftover fudge:

While you don’t have to store the fudge in the fridge, I usually do just to keep it fresh. This fudge will keep in an airtight container at room temperature for 3 days, in the fridge for 7 days, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
