No Bake Granola Bar Recipe- Fast, Easy, Healthy & Delicious!
I don’t know about you, but my kids could put away 5 boxes of granola bars per day if I let them!
I could probably do some damage, myself though. Granola bars are just the perfect snack. Portable. Oats are healthy, right?
I have become completely obsessed with these Peanut Sweet & Salty granola bars lately. Peanut butter granola bar literally dipped in chocolate. Sugar is #2 on the ingredient list. They sure taste good, but definitely aren’t that great for me or my kids!
I don’t even want to know how much money I’ve spent on granola bars since finding those puppies. ?
Well, sorry Sunbelt Bakery! A new granola bar is in town and it is here to stay.
You want to know the ingredient list?
- Honey
- Brown Sugar
- Peanut Butter
- Vanilla
- Quick Oats
- Slivered Almonds
- Krispy Rice Cereal
- Mini Chocolate Chips
REALLY! That is it. Aaaaand there is hardly even any brown sugar in there.
The brown sugar just helps everything set up and stick together. It makes these bars sliceable.
They don’t even fall apart.
And they take less than 10 minutes to make. Okay, what are you waiting for? Get to it! ?
How to make No Bake Peanut Butter Granola Bars
To make the granola bars, combine honey and brown sugar in a small saucepan.
Bring the mixture to a boil and boil for 45 seconds. Start timing once you begin seeing continuous bubbles!
Remove from heat and add in vanilla and peanut butter.
Stir until smooth and creamy.
Measure out the quick oats, Krispy rice cereal and slivered almonds into a large bowl.
Pour the peanut butter & honey mixture into the oats, cereal and almonds.
Stir to thoroughly coat the oats, cereal and almonds.
Firmly press into a 9X9 pan.
I find it is easiest to use a spatula and pack down the granola bars. I pack with my hand, the spatula in-between my hand and the granola bars.
Sprinkle mini chocolate chips onto the top of the granola bars.
Use the back of the spatula again and press the chocolate chips into the granola bars.
Now the hard part: let them cool completely before slicing.
Confession: I usually toss them in my fridge for 10 minutes to speed up the process.
The granola bars will keep at room temperature for up to 5 days. Mine usually last less than 48 hours though. ?

These were amazing. But, even when I tried to make them smaller, I got only 12 bars from my batch (and I doubled the recipe!) My kids and I are going to make them again soon. They asked me to pass on their thanks!
