Oreo Pie is a No Bake Pie that embodies everything Cookies and Cream. From the classic speckled grey filling to the Oreo cookie crust. This pie will not disappoint!
Cookies and Cream Lovers- This No Bake Pie is for YOU!
Hello, fellow Oreo fan. ? Naturally, I will just assume since you are reading this Oreo Pie post you are most definitely a diehard Oreo fan like myself.
We can officially be friends now.
Even better news (if that is possible): This Oreo pie literally takes 10 minutes to put together. IF THAT.
And it pretty much tastes exactly like a Cookies and Cream shake. In pie form.
I would consider my husband a professional Oreo lover and he said this is the best Oreo pie he has ever tasted!
Side note: How do you dunk your Oreos in milk? With your fingers? A fork? My husband slides a fork into the cream and then dips. See, told you. Professional. ?
With this pie, there is no need to even mess with dipping Oreos in milk. The creaminess is already in the pie, baby!
How to make an Oreo Pie
To make the Oreo Pie filling, we will start with a little bit of butter, crushed Oreos, powdered sugar, milk and vanilla.
Using a mixer, whip the ingredients together until smooth.
What you have here is actually Oreo Buttercream Frosting. Go ahead and take a little taste. And then commit to making some cupcakes tomorrow and topping it with this lovely stuff.
Back to the pie, Oreos can be a little distracting. ? Take some cool whip and fold it into the Oreo Buttercream.
Once the cool whip has been completely incorporated into the Oreo frosting, pour the filling into a pre-made Oreo pie crust.
I usually just buy the Oreo crust from the store because the crust itself is much cheaper than a package of Oreos. Not to mention if I have extra Oreos in the house, I will eat them and I definitely do not need them.
If you’d like to make your own, more power to you! ?
Spread the filling around to evenly fill the pie crust.
Top the filling with more cool whip.
Quick Note: if you would prefer using real whipped cream, DO IT! 1 1/2 cup cream, 1/3 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla. All whipped together until firm peaks form.
Garnish with more Oreo’s pushed into the pie around the edge. If you’re really feelin’ it, cover the pie in crushed Oreos too. You know I always do.
Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
