How do you make homemade peach ice cream from scratch?

Take the cold heavy whipping cream and place it in a bowl. Whip the cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form and then set it to the side.

Take 6 whole peaches, remove the peels, and cut them into slices or chunks. Place 3 in a blender and puree them until they’re smooth, reserving the rest for later.

Whisk together the peaches and the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and salt in a sperate bowl and then fold the whipping cream into peach mixture.

What to serve with Peach Ice Cream?

The hardest part of making this no-churn peach ice cream is deciding how to serve it when it’s ready. Do you choose to eat it in a bowl or in a cone-these are the tough decisions. 😉

I personally like to eat mine out of a waffle cone, or on top of a warm slice of vanilla cake.

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 12

Ingredients

  • 1 pint heavy whipping cream
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 6 peaches, pealed, cut and divided

Instructions

  • Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
  • Cut and peel 3 peaches and blend until smooth.
  • Whisk together the blended peaches, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and salt.
  • Fold half of the whipped cream into the peach mixture. Fold the remaining whipped cream.
  • Add the remaining diced peaches to the mixture.
  • Pour into a 9x5 loaf pan, freeze overnight. Allow to sit at room temperature for 5 or so minutes before scooping.

Notes

*Because peaches are liquid based, this sometimes gives the ice cream a slightly ice-y texture when scooping. Rest assured that as soon as it enters your mouth it will be super creamy!
