Ingredients in Chicken Crescent Roll Ups

  • Chopped chicken (I use rotisserie chicken)
  • Cooked rice – We like to add rice to make the meal a bit more filling and cheaper (hi, inflation) but you can use 3 cups of shredded or chopped chicken if you’d like instead.
  • Cream cheese
  • Butter
  • Garlic powder – Feel free to sub and adjust all seasonings to your liking.
  • Salt
  • Paprika
  • Oregano

Are there any creative variations of chicken crescent roll-ups I should try?

Yes! These are actually incredibly versatile. Here are some flavor combinations I’ve been thinking of trying as chicken crescent roll ups. Let me know if you try them!

  1. Mexican Style: Mix in some taco seasoning with your filling and add black beans and corn for a mexican twist. Add salsa into your sauce before covering the rolls to bake. Once baked, serve with  sour cream and guacamole.
  2. Buffalo Chicken: Mix buffalo sauce into your chicken filling and the sauce. You can even sub blue cheese in place of cheddar if you’d like. Once baked, serve with ranch dressing on the side for dipping!
  3. Italian Style: Swap the cream cheese for ricotta and mix in some italian seasoning with your filling.
