Oreo Fluff Recipe

You know how Americans sometimes like to call super random things salad (ahem, potato, macaroni, jello)? That’s the case with this Oreo fluff salad. But if we’re being honest, you’re not even going to care because this stuff is de.li.cious.

Oreo fluff is a light and creamy mousse-like dessert that can be enjoyed on its own or as a dip for fruit, pretzels or even more Oreos. You could even go as far as using it as a topping for cake or brownies if you’re into that sort of thing. Which, as you know, I am.

Speaking of Mousse- like desserts, I you fancy a good Mousse, you HAVE to try this recipe for Strawberry Mousse.

While oreo fluff is perfect as an everyday treat, it would fit right in at a summer bbq, girl’s night, a bridal shower or baby shower. Basically, I’m begging you to add it to the spread of whatever you’re hosting this summer!

What Ingredients are in Oreo Fluff?

  • White chocolate pudding mix
  • Milk
  • Cream cheese, softened – You can *technically* omit the cream cheese, but I find it gives this a nice rich flavor and a thicker texture. But do make sure the cream cheese is softened to prevent it from clumping with the pudding.
  • Frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • Oreos, crushed – 20 oreos is a suggestion, but not the law. Use as many as you’d like!

How to Make Oreo Fluff Dessert

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and milk. Set aside.
  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer or with an electric hand mixer, cream the cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Slowly, start mixing the pudding mixture into the cream cheese, mixing until well combined.
  4. Then mix in the whipped topping.
  5. Finally, fold in the crushed Oreos
  6. Enjoy! Serve immediately or store in the fridge for up to 3 days prior to serving.

Can I use different types of Oreo cookies in this recipe?

YES! Please do. Can you imagine how good Lemon oreos would be? Yum. You could also try a peanut butter oreo, vanilla oreo, birthday cake oreo…really, I don’t think you can go wrong.

Can I make Oreo salad in advance and store it in the refrigerator?

You sure can! Just be sure to store it in an airtight container in the fridge and use it within 3 days. When you pull it out of the fridge, it may be a little hard – don’t worry, it will soften as it sits out.

  1. I’m really excited to make this for an upcoming bridal shower! The bride is gluten-free so I’m going to use gluten free Oreos and then some fruit and gluten free pretzels to dip! I’ll let you know how it goes!
