The Fry Sauce Craze

We take pride in our Fry Sauce here, in Utah. I think the secret of how good this stuff is might be leaking..

Heinz recently said they are thinking about releasing a ‘brand new’ product.. drum roll, please.

MAYOCHUP.  Aka, mayo and ketchup. Basically FRY SAUCE which I make at home almost weekly. (Yeah, we go through a lot of the stuff. Don’t judge. 😉 ) It got me thinking, maybe YOU want to get in on this Fry Sauce Craze!

If you want in, there is one very important thing to know; Fry sauce isn’t just for french fries. (Although, if you need a new OVEN BAKED CRISPY french fry recipe, I’ve got you covered! ) Fry sauce is for burgers, chicken nuggets, tater tots, fried chicken, and of course french fries, just to name a few.

Fry Sauce is great on burgers or with chicken nuggets!

The Perfect Fry Sauce- Years in the Making!

When I say years in the making, I am not exaggerating!! I have been making fry sauce as long as I can remember! I always got fry sauce making duty as a kid. I loved it.

I loved adding things, substituting or eliminating and then seeing my family’s reaction. Note: don’t substitute apple cider vinegar for white vinegar. Speaking for a friend. 😉

I have found the perfect combination to make the absolute best, tangy fry sauce around.

I ♥️ Fry sauce! I put it on EVERYTHING! I’ll have to give this one s try I’ve never added bbq sauce to mind before! Which is your favorite brand to use called? This is my go to fry sauce recipe😋

1/2 cup mayo (I prefer using the one made with olive oil or making a homemade one)
    1/3 cup ketchup
2 packs of hot mustard I get from McDonald’s (I love that stuff) or just use good old yellow mustard
    1-2 tbs of white vinegar
    1tsp sugar
2 big heaping spoon fulls of relish
1/4 of a medium onion finely diced up (either white or red)
And depending on my mood sometimes I add a little red hot or sriracha
Mix together and stick it in the fridge for flavors to marry I give it a minimum of an hour but two hours seems to be the best!

I know it seems like a lot but omg it’s sooo worth it!!!
And honestly I don’t measure anything I eyeball it but these are very close to what I end up putting together

A restaurant I worked at in the late 80s used dill pickle juice instead of vinegar and BBQ sauce. I’m going to try your version out with my family.
