Triple Berry Cheesecake Trifle-Perfect for the 4th of July!

Who has a major 4th of July party they are planning on going to this year? I definitely have a few!

Growing up, my whole extended family (and neighbors and friends) would always to go my grandparents house on the 4th of July. The parade in their town is AWE-SOME.

Not to mention, the parade route goes right in front of their house! The parade itself goes on for at least an hour, and every float is throwing candy. I used to come home with POUNDS of candy!

My grandparents live in a farming town so there are a lot of horses (even dancing ones!!), marching bands, and my personal favorite, the beard growing contest. ?

After the parade is over, everyone would go outback for lunch and then either baseball or volleyball. So many great memories made with my cousins drinking homemade root beer and eating way too many pieces of salt water taffy.

I haven’t been able to go to the parade for quite a few years and am excited to be there for the party this coming year.

I will, however, miss watching fireworks on the beach, over the ocean like I did the past two years. Honestly, one of the most magical nights of my life. Journey tribute band + fireworks over the ocean?? #perfection

strawberries, blackberries and blueberries are used in this no bake trifle.

How to make Berry Cheesecake Trifle

The first thing to do is wash the fruit, and slice the strawberries. I like to do this first so by the time I am ready to put the trifle together the fruit is mostly dry.

Next, I cut the angel food cake into bite-sized cubes. I like to just pick up an angel food cake from the grocery store, but you could definitely make your own if you are feeling extra adventurous!

Now that the cake and the fruit are prepped, it is time to make the cheesecake filling that brings everything together.

The cheesecake filling is made out of cream cheese, cheesecake pudding powder, cool whip, vanilla and a splash of milk.

The cream cheese, cheesecake pudding powder, milk and vanilla are beat together until nice and smooth. Then the cool whip is folded into the cream cheese mixture to create the cheesecake filling.

Now it is time to layer the trifle. I don’t own an actual trifle bowl (I know, I know! It’s on the list.) So I used a large glass bowl. I think it still turned out pretty enough. ?

The trifle is layered in this pattern: angel food cake, cheesecake filling, fruit, repeated 3 times.

I put the blackberries down first, the blueberries in the middle and then the strawberries on the very top.

You can layer it however you’d like, though. Get creative with it. ?

The final touch I like to add is crushed graham cracker crumbs on top. It really finishes off the cheesecake theme well.

Make sure to keep this refrigerated if it’s not being eaten. Oh, and personal opinion- this is even better second day. You could definitely make this the day before if needed!

The only problem ( or maybe not) with this recipe is that I could probably eat the entire thing all by myself! Looking forward to testing the theory. Thanks for another amazing recipe.
