*drum roll, pleaaaase..*
I’m Karli, the face behind this blog. Bet you could of guessed that, huh? ? I am married to my childhood community swim team teammate (Woah, try and say that three times fast!). Together we have 4 kiddos. My husband, Dan, and I have been married for over a decade.
We love each other & our crazy kids! Dan has been the biggest supporter of my blog since day one. I wouldn’t be anywhere near where I am today without his optimism & encouragement. Everyone really needs a ‘Dan’.  They are pretty awesome, I really like mine. 🙂
This blog is a little glimpse into my kitchen, family & life. I hope you’ll giggle the days away with me and enjoy the craziness that goes on at my house. Â There isn’t ever a shortage of crazy. I can promise you that! Buckle up, keep your hand and legs inside at all times and enjoy the ride!

Hi Karli just wanted to say I’ve tried many of your recipes and they’re big hits…also, just signed up and read you bio insert and completely agree that everyone needs a DAN(my Daniel) is a chef and has always been supportive with me baking cookies and cakes and more. Thank you sharing your recipes! Praying blessings continue to you and your family!!
Just received your Cookies for Days book. What a beautiful book. Ordering another for a gift! Thank you.
Is the eggnog melt always in the book? I’ve been looking for the recipe and I’ve tried to order the book but can’t find the link.
Please help,
Desperate for these cookies.
Hi! Egg nog meltaways can be found on my sister site! Here’s a direct link for you: https://cookiesfordays.com/egg-nog-meltaway-cookies/.
Hi! Ive tried so many different ways to get in contact with you but have yet to ever get a response. Im wondering about the recipe for white chocolate macadamia nut cookies you have. In the recipe it says 400g of macadamia nuts and 240g of white chocolate, is this correct? It seems like a very high ratio of nuts for this dough and on your recipe for White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies with Salted Caramel the recipe is exactly the same but the amounts for the nuts and chocolate are switched- 240g of macadamia nuts and 400g of white chocolate. Can you please offer some clarification of the correct recipe?
Hi Julia- That looks like a typo, thanks for bringing it to my attention! I will get that edited asap. 400g of white chocolate chips is correct.
Hello,
I’m trying to order your cookbook, Cookies for Days but I’m having a hard time getting it in my area. I’m in Canada. Is there a way to order and ship it here? I love your content and would love to really dig into that book. I hope you ship to us.
Thanks in advance.
I actually just opened up shipping to Canada today. 🙂
Are your recipes made at high elevation? Just wondering if I need to adjust for my higher elevation?
My recipes are made at 4,400ft!
Question- love your cookbook and that grams are listed. I’ve always thought 1cup of flour is 125 grams, but your recipes are higher. Not complaining, cookies are delish, but am I missing something.
Hi Carolyn! Ironically there are many different metric “standards.” I measure and weigh all of my ingredients and you’ll find that my weights typically align with Ina Garten’s.
Hello! I just purchased your Cookies for Days and tried the Cherry Blossom Cookie recipe. Both trays came out completely flat. I left the butter out on the cupboard overnight to soften, but is that too soft? Do i need to change the flour amount to adjust for altitude?
What suggestions would you have?
Thanks!
Shoot, I’m sorry! I imagine the butter probably was a little too soft. If your cookies are coming out flatter than you’d like, you can add up to an additional 1/4 cup of flour and see if that helps. If you’re still running into problems, try increasing the oven temperature by about 10°!
Hi! I’d love to get a copy of your book. When I tried it seems you don’t ship to Canada? Any way around that?
Hi! Exciting news. I was finally able to get Canadian shipping worked out.
Shipping fees to Canada are calculated at checkout- and it is exactly what Canada Post/USPS charges me to ship your book. I don’t mark it up at all.
Canadian orders may also have GST/HST or a small postal handling fee when they arrive. These come from Canadian customs or Canada Post, and they decide if/when those are applied. Many packages arrive with no extra fees, but it’s a possibility I want you to be aware of.
Thank you so much for understanding! 🤍

I would like to know if you sift your flour in your recipes? Does it make a difference? Thank you Karen Orourke
Hi, unless otherwise stated in the recipe, I do not sift the flour.
Karli,
Can you do copycat recipes for Carols’ Cookies out of Northbrook, IL ?
Hi – is there a specific cookie recipe that you’re looking for? And do you know if they ship?
