*drum roll, pleaaaase..*

I’m Karli, the face behind this blog. Bet you could of guessed that, huh? ? I am married to my childhood community swim team teammate (Woah, try and say that three times fast!). Together we have 4 kiddos. My husband, Dan, and I have been married for over a decade.

We love each other & our crazy kids! Dan has been the biggest supporter of my blog since day one. I wouldn’t be anywhere near where I am today without his optimism & encouragement. Everyone really needs a ‘Dan’.  They are pretty awesome, I really like mine. 🙂

This blog is a little glimpse into my kitchen, family & life. I hope you’ll giggle the days away with me and enjoy the craziness that goes on at my house.   There isn’t ever a shortage of crazy. I can promise you that! Buckle up, keep your hand and legs inside at all times and enjoy the ride!

  1. Hello Karli,
If you’re making them more than 1 day in advance, after rolling the buns out and placing in the freezer for 2 days; is the 2nd rising when the buns are thawing overnight on the counter top? Once they thaw on the counter overnight, do they begin the 2nd rise after they thaw?(I just want to make sure I am being clear)
Once they thaw and have risen,(after being in the freezer for 2 days), then I bake and frost?

Is there a difference in the amount of rising if they are fresh or frozen?

    Thanks for your help!

    1. Hi Kathy! If the rolls are frozen, I typically pull them out the night before I plan to bake them. I let them thaw/rise overnight and then bake and frost as normal in the morning.

    1. Hi! I haven’t tried it (yet), but stay tuned! If you want to try on your own, I would put this dough in a 9×9 pan and bake for 25-35minutes.

  2. On Fox 4 morning TV last week, they prepared a Molten Chocolate Dream. I cannot find this recipe on your website. Please send it to me.
    Thanks

  3. Hi Karli- just made your Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Mug Cake and it is absolutely scrumptious! New favorite at our house!

  4. Hey Karli, I love your recipes. I make them all the time and send the extras to my husband’s work. They are always a huge hit.
If you ever take suggestions on new cookies recipes to create, a copy cat version of Costco’s coconut chocolate chip cookie would be one I would suggest. They are so good!
Keep making amazing cookies!! You are awesome!

  5. Hello! I recently got a Kitchen Aid stand mixer. I did some cookies at Christmas and they were not at all what I had hoped. They were hard and dense. I am unsure what piece you use to do cookies? Do you use the whisk for the butter and sugar then switch it out? Please help! I want to love it….just am not there yet. I want to try these delicious recipes of yours but I wasted so many ingredients already. And it was such a let down. Thanks for any advice!

    1. Hi! I use the flat beater when making my cookies! You do have to scrape the sides of the mixer down fairly regularly, even if you’re using the flex edge. I’m wondering if temperature of your butter or flour quantity may have also impacted how the cookies turned out. I hope you start to love your mixer!

  6. I love your “love” of cookies and sharing your recipes with us!! I hope to switch up my cookie business a little by using some of your recipes to increase my sales. I currently only make the decorative royal iced cookies. Looking to start making cookie boxes with different assortments. I love your energy you put into your work!! You also have a beautiful family!!! Keep up the great job!!! We appreciate you!!

  7. Hi Karli, I love your recipes. Could you please tell me how to make the copycat Crumbl sugar cookie a chocolate cookie. Just the dough. Thank you!

  8. Hi there!! I found and fell in love with your page after talking to a friend about where she found copycat recipes for Crumbl cookies! I am going to try the celebration cake cookie recipe this evening, but she mentioned adding vanilla pudding mix after adding the sugars. What are your thoughts on this? How does this affect the cookie dough and baking cookie itself? Love your page and blog, thank you in advance!
