*drum roll, pleaaaase..*
I’m Karli, the face behind this blog. Bet you could of guessed that, huh? ? I am married to my childhood community swim team teammate (Woah, try and say that three times fast!). Together we have 4 kiddos. My husband, Dan, and I have been married for over a decade.
We love each other & our crazy kids! Dan has been the biggest supporter of my blog since day one. I wouldn’t be anywhere near where I am today without his optimism & encouragement. Everyone really needs a ‘Dan’. They are pretty awesome, I really like mine. 🙂
This blog is a little glimpse into my kitchen, family & life. I hope you’ll giggle the days away with me and enjoy the craziness that goes on at my house. There isn’t ever a shortage of crazy. I can promise you that! Buckle up, keep your hand and legs inside at all times and enjoy the ride!

I loved this even more because my name is Karli too! Such a rare spelling. Trying this recipe today. Happy Easter! 🐣
No way! It is so rare to find that spelling anywhere. We Karli’s need to stick together!
I love so many of your recipes! I haven’t made one yet that I haven’t liked! Do you have any peach cobbler recipes? I’d like to try my hand at that! Thanks so much for your wonderful recipes!
Hi Shay- Thank you for those kind words! ❤️ I don’t have a peach cobbler yet, it is definitely on my list, though!! 🙂
Hi Karli,
Just wanted to let you know I sent this message to Instant Pot. I don’t know if you have the Duo Crisp yet, but mine just arrived yesterday. I plan to make your Ziti recipe and use the crisper unit to melt the cheese on top. My son loves it when I add meatballs or chicken tenders and artichoke hearts to it.
“I JUST got my Duo Crisp yesterday and am getting ready to use it today. I would like to suggest you offer https://cookingwithkarli.com/ a Duo Crisp unit to test and develop recipes for.
SHE has single-handedly inspired me to use my Instant Pot MUCH more than I would otherwise with her ‘dump and go’ recipes. Her recipes have inspired MANY variations for my family because they are truly easy and quick AND especially in the summer, NO OVEN.
https://cookingwithkarli.com/instant-pot-skinny-creamy-ziti/ and https://cookingwithkarli.com/instant-pot-skinny-alfredo/ are my favorites and they both lend themselves to adding other ingredients to create healthy main dishes. Both are also available in higher fat versions.
Thank you for your time and attention. Linda”
I hope it helps and doesn’t cause any problems for you.
Oh Linda- you are simply the best! Thank you for reaching gout to Instant Pot, that is so kind of you! ❤️❤️
I hope something positive comes of this. It’d be lovely to see more easy recipes
I just bought my 2nd IP, a DuoCrisp 8 qt. I made a meatloaf in it last night and it’s delicious. (However, next time I’ll let it cool a little before I manhandle it out of the pan, lol. It literally fell apart. But it’s delicious!)
Do you have any instant pot air fryer recipes?
Not at the moment, but I have some things in the works!
Terrific!! Thanks!
Hi Karli, You helped me so much when I got my first Instant Pot about a year ago. I was wondering if you had any printed cook books out there. I like to browse through cook books when deciding on “what’s for dinner”. Thanks so much for all your help.
Hi Gerri! I am working on getting together a printed option for my recipes! I am so glad you have enjoyed them so much so far!
Hi Karli,my daughter made the dump and start instant pot ziti recipe in her 6 qt instant pot, I have an 8 qt . It seems a little shallow to cook the pasta and I’m sure the noodles won’t be covered, so my question is would I double the recipe.
Thank You
You could double the recipe, or add a little extra broth to get those noodles covered. Either way would work great!
Thank you for your reply.
Hi Karli,
Just wanted to say Thank You for that wonderful recipe for sugar cookies. I loved it! I never have been one for cookie cut outs, but now I think I’m hooked. I loved the taste and texture. I listen to you about the cooking time and they were perfect. Thank you!
Thank you, Nancy!! ❤️
Karli, I just tried the instant pot dump and cook fettuccine Alfredo. It was delicious and so easy. I thought I had fettuccine but didn’t. So I used thin spaghetti (not angel hair, but thin). I cooked it do or four minutes then let it NR for 6 minutes. It was sooo good! Thanks for the recipe!
