*drum roll, pleaaaase..*
I’m Karli, the face behind this blog. Bet you could of guessed that, huh? ? I am married to my childhood community swim team teammate (Woah, try and say that three times fast!). Together we have 4 kiddos. My husband, Dan, and I have been married for over a decade.
We love each other & our crazy kids! Dan has been the biggest supporter of my blog since day one. I wouldn’t be anywhere near where I am today without his optimism & encouragement. Everyone really needs a ‘Dan’.  They are pretty awesome, I really like mine. 🙂
This blog is a little glimpse into my kitchen, family & life. I hope you’ll giggle the days away with me and enjoy the craziness that goes on at my house. Â There isn’t ever a shortage of crazy. I can promise you that! Buckle up, keep your hand and legs inside at all times and enjoy the ride!
Interested in working with me?? Get more information here.

You’re killing me here! I sat down to read a book and got sucked into your blog! From where on the East Coast did you move? I’m in PA. Did I see a link to get recipes/newsletter by email? If so, I can’t locate it now.
Thanks for the Ziti recipe! It was tonight’s dinner!
Mary Jo
Mary Jo! So glad I could provide a little light reading for your night. ? I came from CT! We visited PA a few times while back east. Send me your email address to karli@cookingwithkarli.com and I will get you on my email list. ?

Great for busy moms or really just anybody who doesn’t want to spend any turn it he in the kitchen! Thank you so much for your work it is meaningful??
Claudsey- your comment made my night!! Thank you thank you!!! ?
Okay, your search for recipes is awful. I saw a post on FB about an Instant Pot recipe of yours for Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp. Nowhere to be found on your site either by searching or checking recipes. Will not be following.
Hi Linda! The reason you have had a hard time finding that recipe is because I actually don’t have a shrimp Alfredo recipe on my site! I have an all-purpose Alfredo recipe that a lot of people adapt by themselves to add shrimp to. They adapt my Instant Pot Dump & Start Alfredo recipe. Here is the link for that! Hope this helps. ? https://cookingwithkarli.com/dump-and-start-instant-pot-alfredo/
Your recipe looks great. I would like to make it in the smaller 3 qt IP. What adjustments do I need to make? Thank you.
Hi Judy- What recipe are you wanting to make?
Hi Karli!
I have a question about chicken Parmesan and pasta instapot recipe.
If I am using gluten free pasta, will it come out ok?
Hi Lisa- as you probably know gluten free pasta is a little more delicate which changes the cook time of the pasta. I would suggest making the chicken Parmesan with fresh chicken tenders instead of breasts (the tenders have a shorter cook time that will match the GF pasta.) and cooking your GF linguine for 3 min HP, 6 min NPR. Hope this helps!
You are also in Utah, Karli. We came from Minnesota 14 years ago and ended up living in St. George, Utah. Small world! Thank you for your recipes, they are so great! Love the Salisbury Steak recipe and will be making it in a few days or as soon as my basket arrives from Amazon. I’m new at this Instant Pot venture (I cooked for over 50 years with my old fashioned stove top Presto pressure cooker which is a different ball game). Your recipes are really going to help me a lot to make the switch! Thank you again. 🙂
I visit St George at least a couple times per year! What a small works! So glad you’ve found me, Pat!
Could you use ricotta cheese instead of cottage cheese in the Chicken Alfredo Stuffed Shells? Thank you.
Yes, definitely!!
Hi Karli,
I received an instant pot this mother’s day. I have been searching for receipes. I was lucky enough to come accross your page. I found the jam receipe and want to know if i can use agave or other liquid diet
sugars instead of honey. I am dieabetic and in the instant pot it’ll be so easy.
Thank you,
Sandy
Hi Sandy- you could definitely use agave instead of honey in my jam recipe! I hope you love it!

Hi Karli, I would like to fix a spiral ham in my crock pot for Christmas. However, my husband and I are both diabetic so do not want the glaze. Not using juices, etc, should I add water?
Thank you, Joyce
Hi Joyce- I am so sorry I didn’t get to replying to this comment prior to Christmas. I just moved and have been without internet. (worst timing ever!) In the future, I would add a little water and you should be golden!
Hi! Was trying to save your breakfast burrito pin but it says you don’t allow that. Is that true?
Hi Teresa- It should be in working order. When you left the comment, I was in the middle of switching some pinterest buttons around that may have caused this issue. Let me know if the problem persists!
