Frosted Raspberry Lemonade Pie= Summer in a pie tin
First off, raise your hand if you are a Chick-Fil-A fan.. (just so you know, I am totally raising my hand right now.)
Now, who has tried their Frosted Lemonade? And then just about died from how seriously delicious it was??
Ps. only half kidding about that, I am lactose sensitive so I really have to watch my dairy intake. I just couldn’t help myself with that Frosted Lemonade though!
I generally get myself into trouble when I make Alfredo. But I say it’s worth it? It is just too good!
Anyway, this pie is like the older, cooler cousin to the Frosted Lemonade from Chick-Fil-A.
Raspberry Lemonade always beats regular old lemonade in my book. ?
Honesty, you are not going to believe how easy this pie is to make. You’re going to want to take it to every party this summer!!
How to Make a Frosted Raspberry Lemonade Pie
To make this pie you will need just 3 ingredients and a little bit of patience. (Yes, it has to be in the freezer for a while before you can slice it! That is honestly the hardest part!
So you’ll take some slightly melted vanilla ice cream and mix it with a can of raspberry lemonade concentrate.
The raspberry lemonade concentrate is found in the freezer section at the grocery store.
Make sure that the raspberry lemonade concentrate is not frozen anymore when you mix it in with the vanilla ice cream.
Pictured above, the concentrate was still a little frozen, which resulted in a slightly icy pie. The pie will be extremely creamy if the concentrate is liquid when it is mixed in with ice cream.
Pour the mixture into a prepared graham cracker crust pie tin. Make sure to buy the bigger of the two pie crusts at the store!!
Now is the hard part. Freeze the pie for 3-5 hours before slicing and serving.
Store the pie in the freezer for up to a few weeks, but I’m guessing it won’t last that long. ?
