Fruit Salad Recipe with Honey Lime Dressing

If you haven’t ever added lime juice to your strawberries- you are seriously missing out!! I absolutely love lime juice on my fruit. Tt isn’t overly tart, it actually really enhances the natural flavor of the fruit and gives it a little extra pizzaz.

Who couldn’t use a little extra pizzaz in their life. 🙂

I love how this fruit salad pairs great with any meal. It is perfect for grilling in the summer (My favorite are Honey Mustard Chicken Kabobs!) or wintery comfort food (ahem, I’m looking at you, Shephard’s Pie!). No matter the meal, this is the fruit salad for you!

How to make Fruit Salad with Honey Lime Dressing

Listen, there is a secret ingredient in this Honey Lime Dressing that really kicks it up a notch. Save a little bit of the Mandarin Orange Syrup/juice from the can and add it to the dressing. Absolute citrusy goodness.

You can use any fruit you’d like in this salad, but here are a few suggestions for you!

  • strawberries
  • raspberries
  • blueberries
  • blackberries
  • kiwi
  • grapes
  • mandarin oranges
  • pineapple
  • watermelon
  • cantaloupe
  • honeydew

How to make this Fruit Salad Recipe

It is best to make this fruit salad right before serving it. If you need to prepare it ahead of time, I would suggest washing and cutting any of the fruit needed and then storing it separately in the fridge until ready to toss together. You can mix up the dressing before hand, too. Right before serving, just toss everything together in the serving bowl.

To make the fruit salad dressing, all you’ll need is 1 tbsp Honey, 1 tbsp fresh lime juice and 1 tbs of reserved mandarin orange juice. The mandarin orange juice is option, but 100% recommended.
