Freezer Friendly Meals are perfect to prep prior to having a baby, easy to have on hand for busy nights or to take to friends when they are going through a hard time. I’ll walk you through the process below.
The cutest lady messaged me on Instagram the other day requesting easy, freezer friendly meals so she could stock up on frozen meals to drop off at the homes of elderly people. *heart melted*. What a great idea, right? I’ve compiled a list of my favorite dinner recipes that are easy to make and freeze well, to boot!
How to Reheat Frozen Meals
My favorite way to reheat frozen meals is low and slow.. in a slow cooker! This is the perfect way because it slowly warms everything through without scorching the outside of the frozen chunk while still having a solid center. If you’ve ever tried to brown some frozen ground beef, you’ll know what I mean!
I suggest putting all of these into a slow cooker on high a few hours prior to you wanting to serve the meal. Once it is heated through you can always turn the slow cooker to ‘keep warm’ until you are ready to serve.
