Freezer French Toast
With just a little bit of prep, french toast can be a quick option for breakfast every morning!
Prep Time3 minutes mins
Cook Time10 minutes mins
Total Time13 minutes mins
Servings: 16 slices
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 loaf bread
Preheat griddle to 300°.
Mix together all ingredients excluding the bread. Mix well.
Spray griddle with non-stick spray.
Dip each side of a slice of bread into the egg mixture quickly to give it a light coat. Immediately place onto hot griddle. Cook on each side for approx. 2 minutes, or until done to your liking.
Repeat with each slice of bread. My griddle can fit 8 slices of bread, so I only repeat this step twice.
Once the 16 slices of french toast are finished, allow them to cool completely. While they are cooling, cut parchment paper into 4x4 inch squares
When everything is cool, stack the french toast with a square of parchment paper in-between each slice. Place the french toast back into the bread bag and freeze.
When you are ready to heat them to eat, all you need to do is pop the frozen french toast into the toaster.Enjoy!
