Servings: 16 slices

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 loaf bread

Instructions

  • Preheat griddle to 300°.
  • Mix together all ingredients excluding the bread. Mix well.
  • Spray griddle with non-stick spray.
  • Dip each side of a slice of bread into the egg mixture quickly to give it a light coat. Immediately place onto hot griddle. Cook on each side for approx. 2 minutes, or until done to your liking.
  • Repeat with each slice of bread. My griddle can fit 8 slices of bread, so I only repeat this step twice.
  • Once the 16 slices of french toast are finished, allow them to cool completely. While they are cooling, cut parchment paper into 4x4 inch squares
  • When everything is cool, stack the french toast with a square of parchment paper in-between each slice. Place the french toast back into the bread bag and freeze.
  • When you are ready to heat them to eat, all you need to do is pop the frozen french toast into the toaster.
    Enjoy!
