Potato Chip Candy

Salty + sweet, this Potato Chip Candy cannot be beat! Wavy (salty) potato chips get coated with a sweet peanut butter mixture, turning your favorite snack food into a candy worth hoarding.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups (168g) crushed wavy potato chips
  • ½ cup (115g) granulated sugar
  • ½ cup (164g) corn syrup
  • ½ cup (123g) peanut butter
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Add crushed potato chips to a large bowl. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and set both aside.

  • In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, combine the sugar and corn syrup.
    ½ cup (115g) granulated sugar, ½ cup (164g) corn syrup
  • Stir occasionally until the mixture begins to bubble. Once bubbling, immediately remove from heat.
  • Stir in the peanut butter and vanilla until well combined.
    ½ cup (123g) peanut butter, ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pour the peanut butter mixture onto the crushed potato chips and stir to coat.
  • Pour the coated chips onto the prepared cookie sheet and spread into a single layer.
  • Allow the candy to set up completely before breaking into pieces and serving. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
