Pico De Gallo

Pico De Gallo is a fresh salsa or Salsa Fresca. The fresh tomato, raw onion, cilantro, fresh lime juice and a hint of jalapeño come together to make a refreshing appetizer or topping.

Ingredients

  • 8 roma tomatoes diced small
  • 1 small red onion diced small
  • 1/4 cup minced canned jalapeños
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • 2 limes
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl mix together the diced tomatoes, onion and minced jalapeños. 
  • Roughly chop the cilantro and toss together.
  • Squeeze the juice from both limes into the bowl and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 
  • Add more cilantro or jalapeño to your liking.
  • Keeps well in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
