Creamy Ranch Chicken

Creamy with a zesty kick, ranch chicken is easy enough to serve as a weeknight meal but is worthy of being sunday dinner.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp ranch seasoning
  • 4 cups shredded rotisserie chicken

Instructions

  • In a large pan or skillet, melt the butter completely over medium high heat.
  • Once the butter is melted, add in the flour and whisk until combined. Allow the flour and butter mixture to cook for about 30 seconds.
  • Slowly pour in the chicken broth while whisking. After the chicken broth has been added, pour in the heavy whipping cream, whisking smooth.
  • Whisk in the ranch seasoning and add the shredded rotisserie chicken.
  • Cook until the sauce has thickened and the chicken is heated through.
  • Serve over rice or alongside baked potatoes.
