Mississippi Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 au jus seasoning packet
  • 1 ranch packet
  • 3-5 pepperoncinis
  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 2 tbsp butter, room temperature
  • 2 tbsp flour

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, combine the chicken broth, water, au jus seasoning, ranch, and pepperoncinis. Bring to a boil.
  • Once boiling, add the rotisserie chicken.
  • While the rotisserie chicken is heating through, in a small bowl using a fork, combine the butter and flour into a paste.
  • Add the paste into the boiling skillet and stir slowly while the butter melts.
  • Let the mixture boil until the gravy thickens.
  • Serve over rice or mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
