Easy Marry Me Chicken Recipe

- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp minced garlic *you can substitue 4 fresh cloves, if desired
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cup heavy cream *you can substitue evaporated milk, if desired.
- 1/4 tsp chili flakes
- 1/8 tsp thyme
- 1/2 oregano
- 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
- 1 cup parmesan cheese shredded
- 1 tbsp minced basil
- salt & pepper, to taste
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter completely.
Add the minced garlic and sun dried tomatoes. Simmer for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
Add the chicken broth, heavy cream, chili flakes, thyme, and oregano to the pan.
Bring to a soft simmer.
Add the shredded rotisserie chicken to the pan.
Slowly sprinkle and stir the shredded parmesan cheese into the pan, stirring until melted and thickened.
Stir in the fresh minced basil. season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve over pasta or rice.
