Hawaiian Fried Rice
Taking a classic fried rice recipe and adding island ingredients will have you feeling the spirit of Aloha in no time!

Servings: 6 servings
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup peas & carrots mix frozen
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 1 cup bell pepper chopped
- 1/2 cup onion chopped
- 1 cup diced ham
- 3 cups cooked rice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- salt and pepper
- green onion for garnish if desired
Melt the butter in a large frying pan over medium high heat.
Saute the peas, carrots, pineapple, bell pepper and onion for 3 minutes.
Add in the diced ham and saute for an additional 3 minutes.
Move all of the food over to one side of the frying pan. Crack and scramble the two eggs on the empty side of the frying pan.
Once the eggs are cooked through, mix together with the other ingredients in the frying pan.
Add in the cooked rice and soy sauce.
Stir while sautéing until the rice is heated through.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
