Ingredients

  • 1 16 oz pgk bacon
  • 1 12 oz pkg little smokies
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  • Prepare a cookie sheet by lining it with foil. Set aside. Preheat oven to 415.
  • Using kitchen shears, cut the package of bacon into three equal parts, lengthwise.
  • Wrap each individual little smoke with a piece of bacon. Secure with a toothpick. Arrange on the prepared cookie sheet.
  • Once all of the smokies have been wrapped, pour the brow sugar into a bowl and individually toss each wrapped smokie into the brown sugar, then return it to the pan.
  • Repeat with remaining little smokies.
  • Bake at 415° for 15 minutes.
  • Optional step: Remove from oven and turn the oven on to broil.
Transfer the smokies to a clean cookie sheet and broil for 3-5 minutes until the bacon is crispy.

Notes

note: do not sprinkle the brown sugar onto the smokies on the pan or else the brown sugar will burn.
