Sweet Potato Casserole Recipe
Sweet Potato Casserole is full of perfectly cooked Sweet Potatoes, Cinnamon, Brown Sugar, and of course, MARSHMALLOWS! Making this Sweet Potato Casserole should be on everyone's Thanksgiving to do list.
- 2 large sweet potatoes baked
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups marshmallows
Peel and dice the baked sweet potatoes. Arrange in the bottom of an 8x8 dish.
Slice the butter into small portions and place on top of the sweet potatoes.
Mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle on top of the sweet potatoes
Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes at 350° (if the potatoes were cold to start with, increase to 25 minutes)
Add the marshmallows on top, broil until golden brown (watch closely, this happens quickly!!)
