Sweet Salsa Chicken
Sweet mexican chicken with simple ingredients.
- 1 can cola
- 1 chicken breast 1 inch thick
- 1/2 cup salsa mild
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Add the chicken breast and 1 cup of soda pop to the Instant Pot. Make sure the chicken breast is 1 inch thick, if it isn't put it in a large baggie and use your rolling pin until it is 1 inch thick. Cook on manual High Pressure for 5 minutes. Allow for 5 minute NPR. Remove chicken and cover with foil while you make the sauce.
Discard liquid in Instant Pot. Combine 1/4 C soda pop, salsa and brown sugar in Instant Pot. Turn on the Saute function on Low and simmer until the brown sugar has completely dissolved.
Shred the chicken and add to sauce. It is now ready to eat! Enjoy!
