Caramel Sauce

This rich and velvety smooth caramel sauce is to die for, and it is so dang easy to make you will find yourself putting it on everything!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  • Combine brown sugar, butter and heavy cream in a medium sauce pan over medium high heat.
  • Whisk until it is simmering. Simmer for a 2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and whisk in the vanilla.
  • Allow it to sit and cool for 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Makes approx 1 cup of Caramel.
