Ingredients

  • 1 head iceberg lettuce

Topping Ideas

  • cherry tomatoes
  • bacon
  • hard boiled eggs
  • cheese fetta, blue, shredded, parmesan, gorgonzola
  • green onions
  • red onions
  • peppers
  • cucumbers
  • avocado
  • croutons
  • nuts almonds, pecans, walnuts
  • favorite dressing blue cheese, ranch, creamy caesar

Instructions

  • Cut the bottom of the had of lettuce off and then cut into quarters.
  • After cutting the lettuce, rinse the wedge under water, lifting the lettuce layers to rinse throughout the whole wedge. Use a salad spinner to remove all of the extra water quickly. Or you can set it on it's side and let it drain onto paper towels for 30 minutes or so.
  • Top your wedge with dressing and then all of your favorite toppings.
  • Unused wedges can be stored in a zip top bag with a paper towel for 2-3 days.
