Ingredients

butter

buttermilk

vanilla extract

baking soda
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, bring the butter, sugar and buttermilk to a boil while stirring constantly.
Once boiling, remove from heat.
Add in the vanilla.
Stir in the baking soda. The baking soda will cause the syrup to foam and bubble.
Serve immediately over pancakes, waffles, or French toast.
Store leftover syrup in the fridge for up to 5 days.
