Chinese Chicken Salad

Chinese Chicken Salad with Homemade dressing is full of Romaine Lettuce, bell peppers, Orange Chicken, veggies, and rice with a homemade Orange Sesame Dressing. This large salad is perfect for crowds!

Ingredients

Chinese Chicken Salad

  • 1 Tai Pei Orange Chicken Entree
  • 1 head romaine lettuce chopped
  • 1/4 purple cabbage chopped
  • 2 bell peppers sliced
  • 1 can mandarin oranges juice reserved
  • crispy wonton strips
  • chow mein noodles
  • sesame seeds for garnish

Homemade Orange Sesame Dressing

  • 1 cup mandarin orange juice from can
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  • Pulse the dressing ingredients together in a blender until the brown sugar has dissolved. Set aside.
  • Microwave the Tai Pei Orange Chicken for 5 minutes. Let it rest for 2 minutes. Stir and then cut the meat and veggies into smaller bite-sized pieces.
  • Toss the orange chicken and rice together with the remaining salad ingredients.
  • Drizzle with a little of the dressing at a time, tossing in between to coat the salad in the dressing.
  • Serve immediately.
