Chinese Chicken Salad
Chinese Chicken Salad with Homemade dressing is full of Romaine Lettuce, bell peppers, Orange Chicken, veggies, and rice with a homemade Orange Sesame Dressing. This large salad is perfect for crowds!
Chinese Chicken Salad
- 1 Tai Pei Orange Chicken Entree
- 1 head romaine lettuce chopped
- 1/4 purple cabbage chopped
- 2 bell peppers sliced
- 1 can mandarin oranges juice reserved
- crispy wonton strips
- chow mein noodles
- sesame seeds for garnish
Homemade Orange Sesame Dressing
- 1 cup mandarin orange juice from can
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 1/4 tsp sesame oil
Pulse the dressing ingredients together in a blender until the brown sugar has dissolved. Set aside.
Microwave the Tai Pei Orange Chicken for 5 minutes. Let it rest for 2 minutes. Stir and then cut the meat and veggies into smaller bite-sized pieces.
Toss the orange chicken and rice together with the remaining salad ingredients.
Drizzle with a little of the dressing at a time, tossing in between to coat the salad in the dressing.
Serve immediately.
