Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup dried parsley
  • 1 1/2 tbsp dried chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 3 tsp dried dill
  • 2 tsp dried chives
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 3/4 cup powdered buttermilk divided

Instructions

  • Combine all of the herbs and seasonings besides the powdered buttermilk.
  • Store the powdered buttermilk in the fridge and store the seasonings on the shelf.
  • To substitute 1 store bought ranch dressing packet, mix 2 tsp of seasonings with 1 tbsp of powdered buttermilk.
  • To make dressing, mix 2 tsp of seasonings, 1 tbsp of powdered buttermilk, 1 1/2 cups of mayo (or greek yogurt!), and 1/2 cup of milk.
  • To make dip,  mix 2 tsp of seasonings, 1 tbsp of powdered buttermilk with 2 cups of sour cream or greek yogurt.

Notes

Once mixed it stays fresh for approx 1 week in the fridge.
The exact ratio of mayo or greek yogurt to milk really depends on personal preference. I suggest you start thick and thin little by little until the desired consistency is reached.
