Instructions
Break your rotisserie chicken breast into a few smaller portions. This will help the chicken heat up faster.
Add the bbq sauce, chicken broth, white vinegar, garlic powder, salt and black pepper to a large pan. Whisk to combine.
Place the cooked chicken into the pan.
Heat the the pan over medium low heat for 5-10 minutes, until the chicken is heated through.
Remove the chicken and shred with two forks.
While the chicken is removed, add the brown sugar to the pan and stir until the sugar has melted, the sauce will no longer feel gritty.
Return the shredded chicken to the pan and toss to coat in the BBQ sauce.
Place the lid on the pan and turn the heat off.
Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half and butter the insides of the rolls.
Broil in your oven until golden brown.
Evenly distribute the shredded chicken onto the bottom half of the Hawaiian roll.
Top with the slices of cheddar cheese and then put the top of the Hawaiian rolls on to complete the sandwich.
Serve warm + enjoy!
Notes
*You can alternately use 4 hamburger buns if you'd prefer.
