Christmas Tree Cake Balls made with Little Debbie Cakes

Using Little Debbie snack cakes to make Cake Balls? Nothing has ever been easier! This is the ultimate Cake Ball hack!

Ingredients

  • 1 box Little Debbie Snack Cake Christmas Trees (there should be 5 Christmas trees to a box) Can use either chocolate or vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups (300g) chocolate chips can use white chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate
  • sprinkles if desired

Instructions

  • Remove the snack cakes and place in either the bowl of a stand mixer or in a bowl with an electric hand mixer.
  • Mix until a thick dough forms.
  • Portion out and roll into small equal sized balls.
  • Measure out the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl.
  • Microwave for 30 seconds at 50% power and then stir. Repeat this step until the chocolate is almost completely melted. Stir until the remaining chocolate melts.
  • Using a fork, drop each cake ball into the chocolate and then roll to coat the cake ball in chocolate.
  • Set the cake ball on a silicone baking mat or parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Add sprinkles to the top, if desired.
  • Repeat with remaining cake balls.
  • Allow the chocolate to set and then serve the cake balls.
  • Store at room temperature for up to 4 days, in the fridge for 1 week or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
