Cut the bottom of the had of lettuce off and then cut into quarters.
After cutting the lettuce, rinse the wedge under water, lifting the lettuce layers to rinse throughout the whole wedge. Use a salad spinner to remove all of the extra water quickly. Or you can set it on it's side and let it drain onto paper towels for 30 minutes or so.
Top your wedge with dressing and then all of your favorite toppings.
Unused wedges can be stored in a zip top bag with a paper towel for 2-3 days.
